Makeover Begins
H&M Landscaping was thrust into the media spotlight in 2005.
We were asked by WNEM-5, the local CBS affiliate, to be the
official landscapers for the Backyard Makeover Contest they ran.
After all was said and done Joe & Debbie Sumera of Au Gres
were the lucky recipients of a landscape they could be proud of, and
we had made a couple of new friends!

Cultural Center
Gardens
In 2004, friends of the Flint Cultural Center gathered forces and
donated their time, money and materials in order to renovate the
planting beds around Sloan Museum and the Whiting Auditorium.
H & M Landscaping found this a great opportunity to give back to the
community. Click on the link to read the official press release.
Aquascape 1st Pond Tour/Build a Pond Day
Back in the mid 90's a fledgling company, Aquascape Designs, Inc.
held their first ever Pond Tour and Build a Pond Day in Chicago,
Ill. H & M Landscaping was the only Mid-Michigan landscaping
company in attendance. We were able to rub elbows and get wet with
the 'Pond Guy' himself, Greg Wittstock'. Follow the link to their
web site image Peop017 of the class photo, with both Brian
Huyck, our owner and Dan Bachmeier, our production manager, in
attendance. Brian is pictured just left of center, in back
under the bird feeder. Dan is two people to Brian's right.
Since then
Aquascape Inc. has grown into North America's leading pond
supplier and we'd like to think H &M Landscaping, LLC is the area's
premier pond builder with nearly 100 water features throughout
Genesee and surrounding counties.

Each year H&M Landscaping, joins forces with the Genesee Area
Landscape Association to provide the Genesee Valley Center with a
